The Tour of Britain will again be the sole UK stage race with a UCI ranking in 2011. One day events in 2011 will be boosted by the Olympic Test in August but even so the East Midlands Cicle Classic is the only other one I can find. That’s probably why this particular race from 1959 is something of the legend ...
